- 1
Design
Ranges are designed in-house for the target market’s taste, format and price point.
- 2
Production
Factories are matched to the specification; dedicated runs are committed against buyer volume.
- 3
Quality
VIPO’s own inspectors verify production and packaging at the factory before loading.
- 4
Shipment
Goods ship FOB from the port of loading, direct to the customer, settled in USD.
- 5
Repeat
Ranges are re-run to programme, with limited stock held where it serves the customer.
VIPO’s buyers take volumes large enough to justify dedicated production runs, which means ranges are made to VIPO’s own designs rather than selected from what a factory already produces. The buyer gets product that is theirs to the market — not the same range their competitor is landing from the same factory. Limited stock is held where it makes commercial sense to do so.
Product flows FOB directly from the port of loading to the customer, keeping the chain short and the landed cost transparent, with purchasing and settlement in USD throughout. In South Africa, delivery is from time to time routed through Impex SA Trading (Pty) Ltd — the group’s South African entity — where a customer requires local delivery rather than FOB.
